Tried using this with a Samsung Galaxy S3. It works as a data link cable, but Battery does not charge. Charging worked fine with the cable supplied with the phone, but NOT with this cable.
I strongly believe these cables are either fakes, or quality rejects/seconds/returns. Take my advice, avoid the risk and DO NOT buy this item. This is the first (and hopefully the last) negative review I’ve written, so I hope others take note. You have been warned!

The cable is quite solid and doesn’t feel like it’s going to break any time soon. Fits perfectly with a Samsung Galaxy S3, has good transfer rates and is a bargain price.

This calbe does not charge battery in a Galaxy S3.,

|Cheap and does what it says,

Does the job is said it would. It seems to be as good as the original cable and transfers data at a similar rate.
