The box arrived quickly and safely. I was delighted with how easy it was to get up and running with no glitches. One of the benefits that I hadn’t realised was that when I set up the date/time on the first phone, the settings went automatically to the rest of the set so I didn’t have to waste time doing the same procedure over and over. Similarly, with the phone book, I could just enter all my regular contacts and their number and then ‘send’ them across to the other phone sets. One of the phones is used bedside and the display proved a little bright – Easy!, there’s a setting that makes the display go dark without switching the phone off. Nice ergonomic, comfortable grip for those longer calls too. All-in-all, a pleasant purchase.

Excellent triple phone system. I’ve used them to replace an old BT 2-phone cordless system – with the extra handset in my conservatory. The audio quality (incoming & outgoing) is crystal clear (in terms of a telephone!!) .
The audio volume is easily adjusted using the handset button; the hands-free ‘loudspeaker’ function on the handsets works brilliantly. The display is very clear and concise and the functions are easy to use and easy to access. However, I can understand that some people, who are not familiar with an average mobile phone, could find these domestic phones a little confusing.
Phone numbers (up to 200) are easily stored on any phone and can be individually (or in a group) sent to the other phones independently. No need to program the phones separately.
I have a fast wireless wi-fi broadband internet router in my home and there is no apparent deprivation to internet or telephone calls as some reviewers have apparently reported, with some types of cordless phone systems.
Battery life appears to be excellent; there is also an ‘Eco’ function that reduces the Transmit power (but also reduces the ‘range’) and extends the battery life, but I haven’t tried that yet so can’t comment further.
The handsets themselves are very tactile and aesthetically pleasing. Build quality looks and feels excellent in all aspects for the price. Each handset has its own ‘head-set’ connector though I have not used mine so can’t comment further.
Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

We have several Panasonic items in our house and it seems they prefer to cram technology into their products rather than have any thought for the end user experience. For example, to get to your answer machine messages, press Menu, then scroll along to the Answer Machine icon, then press OK, then it tells you how many messages youve got. Wait for this summary to disappear, then scroll down to Play New Messages, then press OK. Previously on our Philips phones, a single button press would do all this! Quite frustrating, when theres 2 redundant buttons on the handset.
    Other annoyances are:
    (1) The screen goes blank, meaning you need to press a button to get it to light up. This means youve then got to press another button to get back to the beginning
    (2) Its not obvious on the handsets how many messages are left, especially when the display goes blank! Then youve got to go through the rigmarole described in (1). Theres an LED on top – why couldnt that flash denoting the number of messages???
    (3) Pressing the Contacts button doesnt bring up any contacts, but an interim screen that tells you what to do next. Surely the icons on the soft menu would do this??

Otherwise its fine. Good points are there are 40 ringtones – enough for all tastes. Volume control on the handset. Handsfree facility. Excellent sound quality. Even a graphic equaliser!
