I dont think this actually is a genuine samsung charger as i already have one that came with my galaxy s3 so this was a back up one….. when i looked at them together and although the plug looked the same the usb cable was way shorter but it works and was cheap

Advertised as a genuine samsung mains charger and USB cable. It’s not. It’s a fake, a very convincing fake but a fake all the same. If compared. With a genuine charger the markings on it are all on one side including the amp output figures, but on this there on both sides with loads of Chinese writing around it, unconvincing samsung logo. It also doesn’t look as well made as the genuine one. This has moulding marks and flashing round the edges where the genuine ones have none of this. I’m not even going to risk using it with my galaxy s3. I’d rather to into derby city centre and get one from the shop I bought the phone from.

I selected this product as the photographs clearly showed a 13 amp plug transformer that would have a USB socket as output and a usb cable to microusb plug to charge my galaxy S3 with. What arrived is not what is in the photographs. I received a microusb plug that is hardwired into a 13 amp plug transformer and separately a usb cable to microusb plug. It works absolutely fine to charge my galaxy S3 from tha mains. I can also use the other cable to link my S3 to my PC. I do not get a plugtransformer with a usb socket which is what was on the photoghraphs. As what arrived is not exactly illustrated only 4 stars.
