£5 including delivery. Black/tan, and it is leather. Excellent quality. Don’t understand those saying no cut-outs. Mine has all. Even the back-to-front clip makes sense when you’ve got it to your ear. Ordered on Friday 21st, same day as phone, both arrived Monday 24th. And that’s with case by super-saver. Yes, phone clip rigid, but had my phone in/out several times and no marks but am careful. Only reason to take out would be if a putative car holder won’t work with case! But works fine in dashboard tray. For £5 it’s amazing. No better value anywhere. Think some people have something else . . .

For the price, I’d give it four stars. The front and back sides are slim, so it does not increase the width too much. The latch is magnetic, easy to lock, easy to open. Form-wise, it fits pretty well the phone.

However, I only givie it three stars as there are two important drawbacks: First, you need to open the latch to connect the Lightning cable, which is mildly annoying and negates the protective purpose if you are in a car and need to power the phone (Turn-by-tturn directions draws a lot of battery)

The second problem is a bit more serious: If you open the case, the front cover flips to the back side, which is fine for everything but taking photos or movies. I fail to see the purpose of having holes for the camera lens and flash, if in order to take photos you’ll block them with the front cover. I usually don’t take photos/movies so for me is no big deal. Photo enthusiasts may find this case unpractical

The iPhone 5 has only been out for a month: and guess what? It doesn’t fit inside an iPhone 4/4S case.

What I *really* want is a TwelveSouth BookBook cover for the iPhone 5, like the one I’ve been carrying my old iPhone 4 around in. They’re working on it. But that’s a high-end luxury case, and right now I just want a flip-case wallet to keep my iPhone 5 from getting scratched up by coins and keys in my pocket.

This case turns out to be rather good. The iPhone 5 clips securely inside a plastic shell; there’s a cut-out for the camera and flash, and three card slots in the cover (two obvious and one hidden). The wrist strap is tacky and cheap, but can be removed or replaced easily enough. Meanwhile, the tab that secures the cover fits neatly via the loop in the back. And the whole thing just feels well-made. Quality of stitching, fit, and quality of materials are all fine.

I’ve seen plenty of £4 phone cases that were a pile of rubbish. This one compares well with phone cases costing five or ten times as much. I’m enough of a fashion victim that I’m still going to buy the BookBook case when it comes out, but in the meantime my phone is well-protected.
