Firstly the console, this is probably the best looking Xbox console to date with not only it looking the part but also sounding like it was created by some futuristic Alien race. Essentially you have the normal Xbox console but featuring a special 320GB HDD. You get two Halo inspired wireless controllers featuring the “transforming d-pad” and newly improved thumb sticks. Also included is as usual a wired headset which can be used on the left or right side of your head because the microphone arm swings both ways, included on the headset is volume control along with a mute button. The console is very quiet and even quieter if you install the games on the hard drive, the machine also feels well made and the touch sensitive buttons on the front add a touch of class. One disappointment is the external “power brick” which still makes an appearance.
Down to the game and what a game it is, Without spoiling it for you if you’re a fan of HALO then you will love and i mean love this game, it is probably the best HALO game i have played to date. It has everything from the best campaign i have seen both in the way it plays but the storyline and graphics to go along with it and the weapons are in a different league to what I’ve seen before particularly alien weapons! Co-op is as good as ever in fact i would say this game is at its best when it’s played in co-op. The online multi-player is where the long term playability is and again it has a refreshed and updated feel to past halo games, certainly Battlefield, Crysis and Call of Duty fans will love this and be playing it for many weeks and months to come in their droves! One of the biggest improvement to this game over past ones are the graphics and the impressive force at which your foes stand up against you, you will have a battle on your hands for survival…bring it on!
PROS: Excellent package for fans who want the game and a new console, a great way to get into the gaming world as this is a complete package with two controllers included meaning you can go co-op straight out of the box, well priced, console is well made and looks good, HALO 4 is probably the best HALO game I’ve played to date!
CONS: As it’s a limited edition console so you’re going to pay more, Still has an external power brick so ensure you have the space at the back of your TV!
VERDICT: This is a great package and has everything you need to get started in the Xbox gaming world (You still need to buy Xbox LIVE Gold 12-Month Membership Card (Xbox 360) to play online). The Console looks epic and is well made added to that the game is fantastic on multiple levels.

I used to own an Xbox 360 many years ago (during which I played Halo 1-3) but it went RED LIGHT on me and I traded it all in to get a PS3 instead.
I love my PS3 to bits and it is definitely my preference for gaming!
How ever when Halo 4 came out the temptation to get another Xbox 360 just to play this one game was too much to handle and I decided the best idea cause of action was to get this limited edition version for several reasons…
1) Its limited edition and looks awesome and will likely be worth a lot of money one day. 2) Good value for money considering 2 controllers (unique design), a 320GB HDD, the game itself and a headset.
Taking into account the last Xbox 360 I owned was around 4 years ago, I was amazed how much smaller this “slim” version is compared to an older version (smaller and more compact then my PS3) and also A LOT quieter then the older version I once had.
The User Interface has also had a vast improvement since last I knew and the 3D Avatar character is a nice touch.
Basically a very impressive piece of kit, but I wouldn’t say its perfect…
1) The Xbox360 still makes enough noise to be heard over game or DVD noise when playing, that it can be distracting if you were trying to watch an in game cut-scene which is quiet or involves a lot of dialogue.
2) The game included in this package has “Bundle Copy” printed onto the game cover.
3) Neither of the discs have any art at all – they are just white with a label and “Bundle Copy” on.
I find this very cheap and insulting as this is meant to be a “limited” edition bundle, and you would imagine the game disc at least would be a full-shelf-copy with disc art. This makes the game feel cheap by comparison.
4) The controllers still user batteries???? Really??? After all these years???
I already paid close to £300 for my limited edition from an alternative shop, but then had to pay more money to get a charging unit to replace the batteries. This really is moronic and there is NO excuse as to why a controller for ANY console should still use batteries instead of being chargeable like the PS3 ones which last for days.

|Limited Edition Xbox,
My son is very pleased with his new Xbox, particularly as it is a limited edition console. Very easy to set up and to start playing without fuss.
