This review is from: Panasonic NN-CT562MBPQ Combination Microwave Oven (Kitchen & Home)
This is a superb combination microwave oven in my opinion, with several different features and settings which make cooking with it straightforward. The main positive for me is that everything I’ve cooked so far has been cooked evenly. So many times with other microwave ovens, I cooked things to find part of it really hot and other parts cold. Combination ovens are generally much larger than this one, so it’s great that this doesn’t take up too much space. Despite this, the inside of this microwave is deceptively big, with a large plate. The instructions are quite comprehensive and easy to follow, although the cooking times may not be entirely accurate, so a bit of trial and error may be required there.
Things to be aware of are that the inside of the oven can get extremely hot, so be careful when putting your hands inside. The door can also get very hot when used on the oven setting. The digital display possibly isn’t the easiest to read from a distance, particularly if there is sunlight shining on it. The numbers on the control panel could also be a little clearer, and the keypad perhaps a little more responsive. The fan and turntable are not quiet, but then you’re never going to get a microwave oven that is totally quiet anyway.
I bought this particular Panasonic model because my previous (much cheaper and simpler) Panasonic microwave oven lasted over ten years with fairly frequent use. I’ve had this combination oven for just under a year now and everything has worked as it should and I’ve had no problems whatsoever. I’d happily recommend this Panasonic combination oven to anyone.

Much more space saving than the previous model because the cooling fan is in the roof not behind the cooking area, which is a big plus as the cooking area is the same. The price has fallen a lot compared to the previous model. The controls are clearer to see, simpler, and so easier to use. On the negative side, the machine has a far more ‘plasticy’ look to it and the door catch seems very notchy, not the smooth level of operation we are used to from Panasonic.

Excellent value for money, I bought this to replace a similar older model that we had for several years and just reached the end of its natural life. I find Panasonic very reliable and would recommend this particular model with its chaos defrost and oven.
