This windows 8 Asus X401A arrived, in Spain,very quickly and before the projected delivery date. It was opened by my Grandaughter on her birthday on 16 Dec and she started grappling with the new windows technology…..the first in her form to experience it.on the third day, the screen pixelation dissolved leaving a ‘modern art image’. we connected the laptop to a second monitor and it seemed to function normally. This particular model was chosen for size and price……maybe we were just unlucky? It has been returned to Amazon.
