My Kindle Paperwhite doesn’t arrive until just before Christmas but I have had an original keyboard Kindle for 18 months. The 3 year protection plan is amazing. I had to ring Amazon on 12th October to say that my Kindle wasn’t working correctly as I had accidently dropped it and the plastic casing was cracked. I was immediately told that a new Kindle would arrive the next day, which it did.
Amazing service and email support. I always do the ‘feedback’ on the person who I have spoken to, as very courteous patient ‘guys and gals’ on the other end of the phone.

My gorgeous Paperwhite was stolen from my table on a train this Sunday. I reported it to the police on Monday evening and had a crime number by 8pm on Monday.
After calling the warranty support line my stolen kindle was instantly deactivated so the pesky thieves can’t benefit from their dishonesty.
I was told at 8pm on Monday that my replacement Paperwhite would be with me by Thursday but it was actually delivered on Wednesday, which is especially impressive given that new Paperwhite orders on the website have an estimated 6 week delivery date.
Really full of nothing but praise for the fast, courteous, professional service I received. The warranty may well be quite pricey, but for that kind of peace of mind, it’s well worth it. Plus the fact that it will boost your Kindle’s resale value should you ever need to upgrade.
I for one will be supplementing any future Kindle purchases with this excellent cover.

It would appear from the documents that if you’re not resident it the UK, then you are not covered by this policy – going from other reviews it sounds very good, and something I would have taken out if I was going to covered as a resident in the Republic of Ireland. Shame. I think this is something that should be highlighted at the time of purchase or not recommended for those customers with addresses outside of the UK.
