This review is from: iBoutique® 32GB USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Elite Flash Drive – IB32GUSB2 Retail Pack (32GB, Jet Black)
I have used a lot of flash drives. Every now and then I buy a new one as capacities get larger. It always amazes me how much memory they can get in these dinky little things now. Anyway, I bought this to replace my Sandisk Cruzer 16GB drive. I was going to get another Sandisk but in 32GB as I needed the extra space for my movies. I put my tv programmes and movies on it then plug it in to my media player. It was a bit of a gamble buying an unknown brand but I was attracted by the excellent price. I am so delighted that I did!
Don’t be put off by the unknown brand as this is a first class drive – especially for the price. I also quite like the look of it from a cosmetic point of view and it has a useful little LED so you know when the drive is being accessed.
Some essential information!
Just one thing people need to be aware of. Flash drives (all of them) come formatted with either FAT32 or exFAT. exFat tends to be used for newer USB flash drives as it is much better for Windows as you can fit more on the drive. These drives come pre-formatted as exFAT. Firstly if you wish to store files of more than 4GB in size, you need to either use NTFS or exFAT. FAT32 will not allow files of more than 4GB period. Since I have now also purchased a 64GB version from the same seller however I needed to use it with a PS3. I have since learnt that there is an essential utility you will need – free of charge. It is called fast32format. This will allow you to format a 64GB drive to FAT32 as the PS3 will not understand either NTFS or exFAT. The utility is very, very easy to use so don’t let this put you off. If you just need to use the drive in Windows you will of course not need this.
I know that it can be confusing but the bottom line is I believe these are the best drives on the market for the price. Hopefully this advice will avoid any potential confusion. Finally one more thing, I have found iSeekGadget’s customer service to be excellent and delivery to be very fast.
Well done iSeekGadgets.

This is a superb product with decent transfer speeds but you will HAVE to format the device in order to transfer big files as with all flash drives!!!
“In order to copy large files more then 4GB it has to be converted into NTFS. FAT32 has a limitation of only 4GB. To format to NTFS, please follow these instructions. Warning: If you have data on the drive, you should save it elsewhere as this process will erase it all.
1. Go into My Computer and, right click on the drive and select format. 2. Under File System select NTFS and click on Start. If you do not have an option for NTFS, close the format box and go into Device Manager by right clicking on My Computer and selecting Properties. 3. Click on the Hardware tab and click on Device Manager button. 4. Expand Disk Drives and right click on the Kingston drive and select Properties. 5. Click on the Policies tab and click “Optimize for performance and OK. 6. Then go back into My Computer, right click on the drive and select format and make sure NTFS is selected for the file system. Select quick format and OK.”

I’ve been buying several flash drives over the last year, on eBay primarily. Many of those have been made by big brands like Sandisk or Corsair. But sooo many times I had to return them because they were either so flimsy they fell apart almost on arrival or had some transfer / technical issues.
This product, on the other hand, even though it comes from a brand I have never heard off before, had exceeded my every expectation. The performance is great, never had any issues from the start. Formatted in FAT32. The form factor and design is impeccable – it actually feels cool when you are holding it. It is sturdy and well put together (does not feel like it’s going to fall apart like with some other drives) The packaging is cool too. Comes in a little plastic box with a magnetic lock. (I’ve actually kept it 🙂
I very rarely write reviews for products, but for this one, I felt like I must.
Highly recommend it!
