I ordered this cover for the Galaxy SII and recieved it the next day.
Im normally in the camp of if your are going to buy a good phone then dont mask its beauty with an ugly and chunky case. However after shelling out for the SII I thought I might try and keep it a bit safer from scracthes and knocks to start with. I was really happy with this cover when it arrived because it does exactly what is should – protects the phone but doesn’t detract to much from the over all design of the phone. The case is perfect for protecting the phone, fits exactly and all the holes/buttons are accessable and useable. Made from a gel/rubber it is thin enough to keep the phone looking sleek, while thick enough to protect it from bumps and scratches. The included screen protector also looks good although I have not put it on yet.
The cover has grip texture to the sides of the phone and adds just a little thickness which to me makes this more comfortable to hold and Im not so worried about it slipping from my hand. Its well designed aesthetically – from distance you cant really tell its a gell cover. It protects the camera when the phone sits on a desk etc, which was a major plus (design flaw from samsung….)
The only critism is that it has a slight raised edge to the front perimter of the phone, and I have noticed that this allows dust to collect around this rim which doesnt happen without the case. For me not a major issue but worth noting.
Overall very happy. Would recommend.

I spent ages reading reviews on the internet including amazon and the XDA website and finally decided to go for this case. I got it from an online auction bay for a bit cheaper.
The case fits like a dream, with all the important bits cut-out. So far I haven’t noticed any interference with 3G or wi-fi. I am yet to try it with GPS.
The included screen protector was Terrapin brand which is good enough so that you don’t have to buy a separate one.
Overall, this adds just enough bulk to make the phone feel comfortable in the hand and make it easier to handle. I can’t notice the weight of the case, and with the phone it’s still so light! The phone in the case looks so sleek, I love it!
Some pics of the case point to a lighter back or even clear. It’s matt black on the left side of the S and the right side is a shiny black. The contrast and S shape look great.
As mentioned elsewhere, the case edge is ever so slightly higher than the screen bezel allowing for placing the phone face down without putting pressure on the screen. Similarly, the camera lens cut out means placing the phone on it’s back will mean no contact between table and lens.
Finally, sides of the case ridged providing a perfect grip on this amazing phone.

I received the item one day after postage, which is good. But it’s not the same phone as in the photograph. My case is not gel, as some reviewers noted, and it doesn’t have a matt and shiny S on the back. However, these things are not vital.
The reason I’m returning this item to the seller is because it is not as described. The picture shows a phone that is protected on the top edge (and bottom edge). My one looks different – the case leaves the phone exposed on the top and bottom edge. Also, the item description says that there is a grip design on the sides, but my one doesn’t. It’s just a plain hard plastic case with nothing extra on the sides to enhance grip.
I believe that somehow, a different case is being sold to the ones that previous reviewers have purchased. Gerry, another reviewer reported that he received a case which matches my description. Older reviewers have received a different case, in my opinion.
I have emailed the seller, Gadgets and Techs and await their reply. I will update this review once I resolve this.
