This review is from: NATPC M009S RTB ULTIMATE 7″ 16GB Capacitive Android tablet PC – Android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich)- now with DOUBLE storage (16GB) and DOUBLE system ram (1GB) for ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE – WiFi (Personal Computers)
I’ve had this tablet for a week and am made up with it. Having used an ipod touch and a HTC wildfire to browse the internet, my hopes for the natpc m009s rtb weren’t that high in terms of response time and touch screen capabilities. I needn’t have worried! It is responsive, quick and streams games and apps without glitches. I have only streamed the odd youtube video and haven’t attempted Iplayer or 4OD yet but the youtube streaming is faultless! I’m supposed to be going back to college in September and wanted a lightweight computer to take with me, having done 3 years at university, I know that lugging a laptop around is both impractical and makes you a target for muggings (not a nice thing to have to think about but it’s true!) so taking my age old laptop was not an option. But, I caan never write as fast as I need to and my notes are always messy! So I looked at notebooks which to me seem a bit pricey and restricted when you compare the specs to a tablet. So I decided to research tablets to pair with a USB keyboard and get round it that way. I’ve downloaded an office app to allow me to create and edit microsoft documents. I get everything I wanted out of this tablet. Web browsing is fast, facebook, amazon, ebay and angry birds run smoothly and compared to my ipod touch there is little difference. I spent a bit more than I originally planned to get the spec to allow me to enjoy the tablet once my course at college has finished. This tablet runs as smoothly as my laptop and gives all the fun aspects that any tablet user would want.
My only complaint is the short charger lead. You need to be sat right next to a plug socket to use it when charging. But that said, I am yet to find any other issues with it and it certanly delivers exactly what I wanted and more!

After buying this I felt compelled to write a review. What a fantastic little tablet pc. I was skeptical about whether or not I should buy this but after a bit of research and reading buyer reviews I decided to get it. I am really pleased I did. It’s an awesome bit of kit. If you’re after something to play a few games, browse the internet, watch movies on the go then this is perfect. I personally couldn’t justify the 400 odd pounds for an ipad and had looked at other tablets and couldn’t find one that looked really good and had reviews that filled me with confidence. It’s light and looks good. Someone on here complained about the resolution of the screen. Personally I can’t fault it. I can’t really notice that it’s not as sharp as other stuff say an ipad or iphone. All my pictures look great and films play faultlessly. Also I have a helmet camera that I use quite a lot and have tried watching videos from my helmet camera (Drift HD170) on my mates laptops and netbooks and the videos only play faultlessly on the newest laptops. In most cases they are unwatchable, being jerky and even crashing. But the NATPC plays them perfectly. Really impressed that a £100 tablet plays video that a £2-3-400 laptop struggles to play.
I do however have a few small gripes. Firstly the power lead is ridiculously short. Not difficult to make it twice the length. Also the battery life isn’t brilliant but you can still probably watch two full length movies max. Although again for the price I can’t really knock it. That’s why I’ve given it 5 stars. I think that’s the main point to bring across this is a tablet that costs just over a £100 and it does everything that I bought it for. If you want something that’s a bit of fun, doesn’t cost as much as an ipad and looks like it’s worth twice the price then get one of these. You will not be dissapointed. Thanks for reading and I hope someone finds the useful.

sent email to Wendy to check if it could get Kindle and other bits I wanted, been pondering about buying a small Tablet for ages, but you read the reviews and there is no concensus, anyway I ordered this Gem late Thursday night – it arrived Saturday a.m. fast or what, never having had an android device before and being of pensionable age, I looked for some sort of what to do leaflet or book, but nothing there, checked all around the tablet found on button and pressed it – we had life but not as I knew it! then a clear bright screen came on with icons, after pressing everything in sight found settings, and it picked up my WiFi at once, and I was away, signed into Google, downloaded Kindle and all my books where there, then screen went black, turned it on again and went setting hoping it was just a simple fix and it was, put it on charge for 6 hours, I’d read about this on the reviews. Turned it on and found files again and Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja where there ready to download, so downloaded, them for free and they run great. Downloaded Google Maps, no problem, but I have pages of Widgets, I didn’t know how to delete, still it is me not Tablet some kind people on discussion group helped out (THANKS) only problem so far – Please remember I have never used or even played with an Android device – I have a steep learning curve – but to me it is a wonderful little device, the supplied videos play fine, internet fast, screen really good and at this price it is a steal, really pleased with it and would suggest buying it to anyone, Wendy Lou has just sent email wth link to manual, so add good service At the moment I have only found ONE FAULT? and that has been mentioned before, if you press the screen a bit too hard you get a sort of wobble or dent in the screen underneath the camera, same effect if you press hard on the rear, I’ll keep an eye on it – but it does not effect the tablet as soon as you release the pressure screen is fine again, even with the wobble the screen still works and is very very sensitive, so all I can say is I am glad I took the plunge, it is a great Tablet – I’ve only had it a day so if anything else occurs, I’ll edit this review Hope this helps someone else to buy this Gem, I believe the price is going up soon, and at this price it is a real steal
