    This review is from: 8GB MP4 PLAYER NANO STYLE 4TH GENERATION MP3 PLAYER with FM RADIO and FULL COLOUR LCD SCREEN & 30 PIN IPOD DOCK CONNECTOR – 5 colours (NOT an Ipod Nano)

    I first purchased this as i was looking for a reasonable prices mp3 that i could listen to music and also the radio as i often go jogging i didnt want something that was gonna be too expensive nor something i would worry about getting damaged! so i was looking for something stylish and cheap!
    However cheap is not how i would describe this, yes it is low cost but its a excellent little item to have;
    It is so easy to download music on to – the easiest i have found so far!
    It looks great – most people cant tell its not an actual ipod!
    It charges up really quickly, not only from computer but, with the handy adapter, from any socket!

    I liked this item so much when i accidently dropped it in my cup of tea – i needed a replacement, so i came back and ordered another one! (the original one is actually working again after some drying out which shows how robust it is, and my niece is now happily enjoying that one).
    The instructions that came with it were not the best but it is so easy to use i figured it out really quickly!
    I have been in touch with the seller and they were extremly helpful and nice! And in the future if i need another replacement – because i am careless etc, i will definatly purchase another form here!

    Had this item a few weeks for the price it’s just the ticket, decent sound quality and most importantly is compatible with most docking stations.

    I wouldnt adivse using the software that comes with the package just plug and play like a disk drive and drag any files across. Some problems sometimes with format errrors but two or three songs out of a thousand isnt bad so can live with it.

    No shuffle/random play option which is a bit of a dissapointment.

    I bought a 4GB one of these for my 6 year old daughter and, at first, I thought it would be too dificult for her to understand, so I didn’t give her the instructions, which were poor. Fiften minutes after opening it on Christmas morning, she had worked out how to use it herself with no assistance. Because she had no instructions, she just started exploring the menus herself and had managed to load music on and play it much to my amusement. After a bit of coaching from me, we had converted her CD collection to MP3 format and loaded it on to the player for her (it has to be converted to MP3 format first – we downloaded a program from the internet called FREERIP which was a dawdle to use).

    Her best friend got an Apple iPod which is three or four times the price of this item and, as it was only meant to be a stocking filler, I couldn’t justify spending so much. However, they can’t tell them apart and she hasn’t put it down since Christmas – no other gift has captured her imagination for so long. She has discovered music in a big way now. The sound quality for such a cheap item is breathtaking.

    I would give it 5 stars for quality, 5 stars for ease of use and 5 stars for value (more if I could), however, the instructions are basic at best.

    So I bought myself the 8GB version which works perfectly in the ipod dock in my stereo system meaning I can play about 1800 tracks in the comfort of my sitting room without having to use earphones. The sound reproduction is impressive.
