So it’s a few years late but it was worth the wait. Microsoft have made the Xbox smaller, quieter and packed with some nice extra touches.
A dedicated optical out, so no more messing around for those who like optical output coupled with the HDMI cable. Internal WiFi which is a lot faster compared to my old WiFi adapter, and did I mention the silence! 🙂 The only sound comes from the power pack which is now smaller and lighter, comparable to a laptop fan ticking over. You can now watch your films and play games without sounding like you’re in a wind tunnel. Even with the DVD drive going full pelt there is virtually no noise and it’s a massive improvement over the old systems.
The system has a gorgeous paint job and two very nice controllers. Also included is a DLC download voucher for Reach which can only otherwise be found in the Legendary Edition.
If you don’t have an Xbox already get this one! If you do have an Xbox sell it and get this one 😉

I’ve had this for a week now, it runs quiter, cooler and I don’t have the fear of the red rings! Plus, with this Ltd Ed version, you get a very nice halo sound effect when you open / close the disk tray and turn it on / off. The memory is huge, the size is smaller, and the silver is very unique. I’ve got rid of my Elite for this, and thus far I am very pleased I did. The package itself is great value for money. Halo reach console, Halo reach game, two Halo reach controllers. Buy it if you can. It also finally has wi-fi built in, and it seems quicker too.

I had my original Xbox 360 for just short of 3 years. In this time it broke 3 times, and I didn’t want to pay to get it fixed again on the third. I realised my local Game still had a few Reach consoles left, so I put my savings together and brought it early October. It has several huge improvements to the original 360-it doesn’t overheat, it plays with hardly a sound, it has built in wi-fi considerably faster than the old plug-in wireless connector, it has a massive memory capacity of 250 giga-bytes and looks nothing short of AWESOME. In a way, I’m glad my last console broke, or I would never have brought this one. The console also contains Legendary Content, enabling you to use the FLAMING HELMET (!!!) and Elite Officer armour in-game. The game itself is included in the bundle, and is truly epic, by far my favourite game to date. My verdict – BUY IT.
