After needing to upgrade my useless 20GB drive after finally finding nothing else to delete I went for a 250GB drive MAXXIMUM DIGITAL-250GB Hard Drive for Xbox 360 System (Bulk Packaged) . The only thing that had put me off was the transfer of all those hard earned game saves and the potential for disaster.
I need not have worried as this kit sorts all that out for you and has the console up and running in a few minutes (if transferring from a 20GB hard drive, larger ones will obviously take a bit longer).
The only slight issue I had was an error or omission in the official Microsoft documentation both in the box and online. You need to plug the old Hard drive into the cable after the cable is placed in the USB slot. Then the Xbox automatically brings up the transfer window.
So for the sake of buying this cable my fun can continue with the Xbox 360 🙂

I got a new style 360 and wanted to transfer all my game saves and profile details from my old 360 it took a couple of attempts but it worked and was pretty fast now I am playing my old saves on my new console and it was really good value

Transferred everything from my old xbox360 120 to my shiny new
360 Slim.
Quickee brush up on my rusty Pidgeon English to read & follow the
instructions – set it off – made a cuppa – 20mins later, bingo I’m good
to go.
