This review is from: MICRO USB DATA CABLE FOR BLACKBERRY SAMSUNG NOKIA HTC SONY ERICSSON (Electronics)
I purchased this lead as a direct replacement for the HTC supplied item that came with my HTC Desire (Not Desire HD) which need to have upward pressure on it after the plug got damaged when someone tripped over it and slightly bent the plug in the phone end. The new lead took a couple of days to arrive but this was due to the Easter holidays. The lead itself is slightly thicker than the original and about 30-40cm longer. One end has a standard USB plug which fits into the HTC charging plug and the other has the micro connector for the cellphone. The connector on the phone end seems to be good quality and fitted snugly into the phone. There was no fiddling required to achieve charging, it all worked perfectly. I would thoroughly recommend this item.

I use this cable to charge my Kindle, HTC Desire, Nexus One and other devices that need a Micro USB cable from my PC. It comes with a little plastic clip around the wire which you can use to bundle it up so that it takes up very little space. This clip isn’t shown in the picture here.
I take the existence of this important cable for granted. I have never taken the time out to appreciate it and thank it for what it does for me, but if it ever stops working, you can bet that I’ll vent my frustration and rage at this inanimate object.

Description is false,
This cable is advertised as 1.8m, but it is only 90cm long.
Also, the housing for the USB micro plug is too big to comfortably fit in a Samsung Galaxy Mini, but that’s partially Samsung’s fault.
