Sadly there is very little technical material in here. It is mostly a tick list of functionality rather an technical explanation of that functionality. Yes, the title is “Introducing” so perhaps I am being a little harsh but if you are going to invest time and effort in learning Windows Server 2012 then don’t start here.
Microsoft have some much better material on their jump start series – just google windows server 2012 jumpstart and you’ll get the downloads.

Pretty basic introduction to Windows Server 2012 but concise with it, and for a free book you can’t complain. Would recommend this to existing 2008 R2 users who want a quick overview of what’s new in 2012.

Great book for the price, very thorough and the author seems very to know their subject, pretty heavy going for an ebook but will probably purchase when the physical copy comes out
