This controller is much better than the original controllers that came with the xbox. The analogue sticks are much more comfortable to use & the “transformer” d-pad (though a little bit gimmicky) is a welcome addition and I can honestly say I prefer having the option to change it rather than being stuck with the solid circle type on the other controllers.
All in all well worth the money if you need a new controller.
Also, it’s red chrome, which is awesome.

I am really impressed with the wireless xbox 360 controller in chrome red! I ordered it as one of my boyfriends christmas presents and he is going to love it (red’s his fave colour) It Look’s AMAZING… the picture does not do it justice it’s even nicer when you see it for real! shiny and stylish 😉

Ok Well the controller is essentially the same as the other slim one apart from a few differences, only 1 of which I really liked.
Pros: First the D-Pad is significantly improved, and is noticeably easier to use than the older controllers, particularly for fighting games or other. It looks fantastic in chrome red, though some friends have told me it looks a bit cheap, however I disagree.
Cons Due to shiny glossy finish, it does leave alot of finger prints and smudges, which are a bit annoying but obviously not a major issue
Neutral: Analog sticks: Some people really like the new analogue top with the slightly raised edges. Me personally am not too sure. I didn’t notice much of a difference in games such as FIFA 12, AC, Batman, they seemed similar, maybe slighlty better than the older controllers. However, in fighting games like SF, the raised edges were pressing against the thumbs too much and hurting after a while, and so I preferred the old controller.
Verdict: Overall its a still a great controller, sturdy feel, great D-pad, looks good, however I have mixed views on the analog thumb top. If you want to save money then just buy a standard controller, but if you really want the chrome one, then red or silver do look really good, not sure about the blue one !
