One of the problems with a Sat Nav like Tomtom is the difficulty you have on some cars to fix it to the windscreen. Another is that it can be too far back to see or to adjust easily – whether you’re a driver or passenger. This mat cleverly overcomes both problems and doesn’t leave a tell-tale mark on the windscreen. It sits securely on the dashboard and the Tomtom sucker clings tightly on to the smooth circle in the centre. Sat Nav users should find it useful and it will make an acceptable stocking filler for someone.

Having changed my car to a Ford C-Max, I was struggling to reach the windscreen to attach my TomTom, so I decided to try the rubber dash mounted mat. The A5-sized mat works brilliantly. I was concerned because the dash curves towards the driver (as per the photo on the advert), but the mat doesn’t move at all. The rigid plastic disc in the centre of the mat needs to be clean though, otherwise the satnav may become detached (as I found out!) The mat comes with a protective electrostatic sheet of thin plastic film which can be put back on the mat when not in use. The mat itself gets full marks – but I was not so impressed by the packaging and lack of information. It arrived in a plain brown A5 envelope – no protection given. Neither were there any instructions/advice on how to best clean the mat’s contact surface once it becomes dusty and potentially less able to adhere to the dash. Guess someone will tell me now I’ve raised the issue, so thanks in advance!

Excellent product that does the job, the sat nav does not move, well satisfied.Forget the windscreen mountig, use this[no tell tale marks].
