Very smart looking cover and I particularly like the fact that it comes with a pen which has got a soft end to use on my Kindle Fire HD. I like the magnetic closure which turns your Kindle off when you shut it, very handy. My only gripe is that it opens the wrong way. For some apps I open up and I have to turn the whole thing round and then the pen is upside down! Such is life and it is such a minor inconvenience that it wouldn’t stop me recommending it to others.

I wanted a case for my kindle fire HD, which I hope will arrive by the end of the month. Came across this one at £4.98 including postage, I thought at that price it can’t be any good. Well I took a chance and I’m glad I did. It looks like leather on the outside, the stiching seems OK but time will tell. When case is open, there is a foam insert(the size of a kindle HD),to get it out a velcro like flap is pull apart. This seems to be strong enough to keep a kindle in place. The cover of case is held in place by magnets and can be adjusted to make a stand and seems to do the job. The case has a holder to keep the pen in position, the stylus pen feels solid looks good and works alright on my other touch screen items and also writes. The protective screen, when I get my Kindle I’ll update on it. To sum up. It’s not Leather and quality may not be up to some peoples standards, but should help protect kindle. For the price it well worth considering. I gave it five stars, for what you get it’s a bargain.
Update: My Kindle Fire fits nicely and is held in place securely, all access points are accessible, sound is clear from speakers. Cover when open switches kindle on and goes off when closed, case feels bulky but at least it will protect the kindle. Protective screen fitted but but not as well as it should, I allways have trouble keeping devices clear of dust etc.

I am pleased with my purchase of this cover. Pros :the sleep/wake feature with magnets works well The included stylus is handy and a nice bonus, can’t say I will use the pen end, my small granchildren like using the stylus. The stand is useful for viewing videos hands free, comfortably. Cons : got so frustrated with the screenprotector I gave up, it is probably good for those who can apply it correctly. The elastic loop for holding the stylus is a bit awkward for me but it does the job.it may not be srong enough for longterm use. Overall I am happy with this item, which is good value
