This review is from: From The Heart (Kindle Edition)
A series of short stories, some of which could actually have developed into something more had the author chosen to expand – by that I mean the story was worth reading and I related to the characters. Good for picking up for the odd half hour available for a quick read – it gets 4 stars for that and the fact that it was at nil cost !

These stories have been published before in other short story compilations, so if you are a big fan of Sheila O’ Flanagan’s books you may have already read them and you will find nothing new here. This ebook is free, though, so this is a great opportunity for readers familiar with her work to re-visit it and for new readers to get a taste of it. There is also the chance to sample Sheila’s latest novel (released 5/7/12), and the book concludes with an author interview. I’ve read very few books by this author. All the characters and settings in this book were new to me, and I quite enjoyed reading these five short stories about the trials and tribulations of various personal relationships. I found this book a pleasant short read which filled an interlude whilst I decided what novel to read next.
