Manufacturers ink cartridges are good quality but seriously overpriced. Amazon offer the best deal for OEM but quite honestly compatibles work pretty much as well, despite manufacturers trying to scaremonger. OEM cartidges come up as empty when there is still a significant amount of ink remaining and the chip forces you to change them.

Canon printer inks,
Canon printer inks cl510 and cl511 are okay but do not last long the 512 and 513 have a better life. So I would suggest purchasing these.

If you search through the Amazon pages you will find it is cheaper to buy these items seperately. Even the single cartridges have different prices.
