Wow. I bought this in the BF sale wondering if I was being silly getting this instead of a smartphone or larger tablet. I’m blown away at how useful it is. I’ve connected it to my wifi network and installed Evernote, and I think it will be worth it for that app alone. I can take notes/photos/sound recordings and they are sent to the cloud and synced to my PC with no effort on my part. Even once I get a new smartphone and big tablet(s) I think I’ll be glad to have this little Samsung around. If you want to use Samsung Kies software, on the Player use Settings…Wireless and network…USB settings…Samsung Kies. The software doesn’t tell you this, and if you miss this step the painfully slow Kies program can be even more frustrating.

I was extremely pleased to open the box and find that the MP3 player had already got a 8GB Micro SD card in it, so it has 8GB onboard and then this 8GB attached. This is now a 16GB player for the price! SWEET!
I also like the fact it comes with 3 cases. All these extras with such a storage capacity! Brilliant!

I am a huge fan of Apple but was still really interested in trying out an Android device….and I am now a huge fan of Android too….
This device is excellent…I have owned numerous MP3 players and iPhones and this is amongst the best that I have tried.
PROS 1. Really large and effective touch screen. at 4.2 inches it is bigger than my iPhone 4. 2. The screen also looks good and responds well. 3. The device is really thin and good looking. 4. It comes with 3 extra backs for the device, a wall charger and a USB wire to connect to the computer. 5. It has a really fast processor. 6. It has 8gb of internal memory, comes with an 8gb sd card and is expandable to 32gb via an sd card! WOW! 7. The battery can be removed easily….so it could be possible to buy another one and replace the original, either for extra charge or when the original runs out. 8. The software KIES can pull in songs from iTunes.You can also use KIES air to wirelessly manage the device.(It comes pre loaded) 9. You can drag and drop onto the device. 10. Using the Amazon MP3 store app you can wirelessly listen to your Amazon downloads via the Cloud or you can download them wirelessly onto the device. 11. The app store has all the main apps that I use for my iPhone eg iPlayer, Spotify, Overdrive, Kindle etc etc….. 12. There are android apps available that I can’t get via iTunes. 13. It came with a voucher for Sygic which is a SatNav….it works really well! 14. Its not an iPod touch…so a bit different from the crowd.
CONS 1. Its not an iPod touch….so maybe some people won’t want it?? 2. The KIES software is a bit clunky at first but bear with it!! 3. At the moment there are not as many apps as in the iTunes store…but Google play is getting there… 4. I had to set up a Google account to use it…but that was easy to do…..
So, overall….I love it…its fast, easy to use with good capacity and the apps are as good as Apple’s they just haven’t got quite as many yet…..so for me I would definitely buy one….Its actually tempting to just go Android!!
