As a result of other reviews, I was prepared to wait a good while to receive this, but it came faster than I expected and was certainly worth the short wait! I had left the original protective layer on my kindle screen, to protect it and was obviously having issues with glare etc. The new shield went on really easily, instructions were clear. That’s something of a miracle for me as I always seem to end up with bubbles on anything else.The shield works brilliantly. I use my kindle daily and am really pleased with this product. It does prevent glare, fits the screen really well and I wouldn’t know it was there, if not for the smug feeling of satisfaction it has given me, knowing that my precious kindle has a protected screen. I definitely recommend this product.As has been noted, you get spare shields as well.

I have a Kindle for both my Wife and myself. I purchasted the Clear Screen Protector because I knew that we would be reading on the beach. The result was great. No glare from the sun and protection for the screen. Basically, it does what it says on the lable. Well worth the small outlay in order to avoid a bigger one.

GreatShield Ultra Anti-Glare (Matte) Clear Screen Protector Film for Amazon Kindle Latest 2011, Kindle Touch, Kindle Keyboard, Kindle 2nd/3rd Generation (3 Pack)I chose the GreatShield screen protector for my new Kindle 2011 after reading the reviews about several similar products. I had not removed the protective cover that the Kindle is supplied with, so when I came to apply the film the screen was clean and dust-free. The film went on easily first time, and fits the screen perfectly. It is matte, invisible, and with very little glare (tho I haven’t used it in bright sunlight). More expensive than some, and took longer to arrive, but definitely worth it. Would highly recommend. One very satisfied customer!! P.S. I paid 6.79 pounds for it, not full price 14.98 pounds! Don’t think I would have considered it at that price!!
