This review is from: Panasonic Hands-Free Headset with Comfort Fit Headband (Office Product)
I’m sorry to say that this product falls short of the mark by being unable to perform its primary function i.e. to listen to the people who phone you!.
I purchased a Panasonic headset to go with a Panasonic phone system and thereby ensure compatability. However, even when I adjust the volume on the phone to its maximum level the volume in the headset is still so quiet that it makes it virtually unuseable. It’s a shame really because apart from this serious lack of volume it is quite well made.
Buy the Plantronic M175 headset, it works well, has volume and mute controls and is more comfortable.

This product is okay. Its build quality is very good.
I purchased the in ear small panasonic headset less than a year ago and within a few months the lead had started to fray. Then last month it just gave up with no warning.
I purchased this as a replacement. I was very tempted to answer the phone like a call centre operative when I first used it!
The sound is a bit muffled and it takes some getting used to. I use it to counsel people so it really needs to be a bit clearer but I do manage and now I have tuned my ear in. I found the louder the sound on the phone the more muffled the sound was. I would therefore say keep the phone sound low and you can hold a reasonably good conversation. I am not sure if there was too much background noise though how good the sound would be. One thing I have found is that I have one ear better than the other so if you find it a problem just try the other ear you never know!
Would I recommend it? Difficult to say really. It is more sturdy than the other type and it does essentially do what is required. I would have liked a clearer sound. Considering this is Panasonic it really is quite poor and I would have expected a better performance from them.
I think for the price on balance yes I would recommend as it is quite cheap in comparison to others. Just make sure you have good hearing.

Very nicely made and feels expensive but I was very disappointed by the sound although everyone says they can hear me clearly. Of course this could be the output from my very expensive Panasonic phones but maybe I am expecting too much for the price.
